Category 6: Bring us your bundt.
The word ‘Bundt’ was derived from the German word bundkuchen, meaning “a cake for a gathering. Considering the bake off is a gathering, we couldn’t think of a better addition to the 2024 schedule-plus ‘bring us your bundt’ sounds a little cheeky and we love a bit of word play!
Your bundt can be ANY flavour you like and can be iced and decorated any way you fancy. Once the entries have been judged, the Bundts will be sliced up and sold in our cafe for visitors to enjoy.
This is an all age category and will be judged live with microphones so you can hear all the cake feedback, tips & tricks.

Category conditions
Entry fee: $10
Entries open: Monday 18th May, 2026
Entries close: Thursday 23rd July 2026, 5pm
Cake delivery: Saturday 25th July 2026 from 9am to 10am
At the Church of Christ, 131 Queen Street Marburg QLD 4346.
Presentation: Cakes to be delivered on a disposable board or plate.
Winners will be decided by our team of judges and no correspondence will be entered into.
